Ulalo continues to be a bridge that supports young people in reaching their goals and unlocking their full potential. Since 2022, we have proudly sponsored the Mpoto Awards an initiative that celebrates young individuals excelling across various humanitarian and personal development categories, including Entrepreneurship, Arts, and Community Development in the northern Region of Malawi.
This year, we sponsored the fourth edition of the awards, reaffirming our commitment to empowering young leaders and innovators.
Held on 28 November at the Grand Palace Hotel in Mzuzu, the event showcased remarkable talent, dedication, and creativity from captivating performances to inspiring award presentations.
As an organization, we were pleased to witness young individuals from different districts across the Northern Region being recognized for their hard work and resilience. Our passion remains to see young people thrive and communities grow to higher standards.

Speaking during the event, Bartholomew Msukwa, the Sponsorship and Partnership Manager for Mpoto Awards, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Ulalo for providing monetary support, strategic guidance, and material resources such as award medals.
He highlighted that the contribution added colour to the ceremony and gave young achievers the recognition they truly deserve.
On his part, Aubrey Kaima a young radio presenter at Chirundu FM in Nkhata Bay, winner of the Best Radio Personality Award and nominee for the ‘Upcoming Male Artist of the Year,’ commended Ulalo for its continued support.
He stated that “Ulalo’s input inspires young people to work hard and believe in their talent, knowing they will be recognized and supported at the end of the year.”
Kaima further appealed to the organization to continue sponsoring events that uplift youthful talent, as such initiatives promote self-reliance, creativity, and hard work.
At Ulalo, our mission remains clear, to empower young people to reach their full potential by creating pathways to success and building a bridge to a better Malawi.
